Dhaniakhali assembly constituency, reserved for SC category, is comprised of population mostly from economically weaker section of the society, specifically SC, ST, OBC, and Minority communities. As the only institute of higher learning in the undergraduate level in the Dhaniakhali Development Block, there is a need to develop a network and strong covalent linkage with the society. The college encourages and spreads knowledge and value-based education amongst the young mind and thereby enlighten them to build the career in personal and professional life with an emphasis of all-round development in respect to the global scenario. The mission of Ramananda Centenary College is to provide quality under graduate education to the students of a remote, rural, backward area along Indo-Bangladesh border of Sitalkuchi and Sitai community development blocks of Cooch Behar district. The college is contributing to the development of the area in which it is embedded by preparing the young minds for imbibing knowledge, skills and sensitivity. Anchored by the values of excellence, accountability, respect for differences, social responsibility, fellow feeling and austerity, the college fosters its students to pursue self fulfillment and contribute meaningfully to the local as well as the larger society after completion of their studies.
