Bengali department is the biggest department of our college. Our department has strived to provide a new understanding of a multidisciplinary approach which was deeply involved with the significance of what literature truly meant to be and the different aspect of reading the craft of literature.From 1999, our department started 3 years honours course in Bengali language and literature at the under graduate level. Now our department offers 3 years Honours course (under CBCS) and 3 years Major, 4 years Honours (under NEP) course.
Our departmental result is very enriched since 1999. Many students of our department established in different school and other sector.Our faculty members are actively engaged in research and publication.
