Environmental degradation, loss of biodiversity, and climate crisis are looming large like the ‘Sword of Damocles’ on humanity. Sarat Centenary College has taken multiple initiatives over the last five years to combat these challenges.

Green Audit

The college conducts regular green audits to maintain biodiversity. Collaboration with West Bengal State University enabled edaphic and water evaluation using advanced environmental biotechnology tools.

Energy Audit

LED lighting has replaced traditional bulbs to save energy. Regular audits ensure responsible energy use, with recent evaluations confirming effective conservation.
